Why is there advertising on this site?
Every time I think of why, I smile. 
Les would have wanted it that way! As a matter of fact, Les would have wanted me to blast ads on every page on my server and make a ton of cash off his passing. That of course, never happened. Thinking back though, I probably should have.
I have made websites for people and they thought they were nice. I put ads on the same site and everyone liked them much better. Are we that conditioned by the media? So, why not bring more traffic to the site? I thought Google AdSense would have been quite a good way to offset some of the sites operating costs. Since AdSense is content targeted, I actually saw many interesting offers and products advertised here. Problem being, I was up to about a hundred bucks in my google account and they took it from me! They suspended my account. I think it was because I clicked on some of the ads myself. Sorry, thought they were interesting. Stephayne used the search box to look for food coupons frequently as well. I guess that is a no-no. What a rip.
So many people use sites like MySpace. They seem to be proud when they mention they have hundreds of friends. Fact of the matter is, that is really sad. They should be ashamed. The effort they went to to make MySpace thousands of dollars in banner impressions could have been used to make themselves thousands of dollars. I guess people don’t like thousands of dollars. When Google banned me, My account was pulling in between twenty and a hundred dollars a day.
Whenever you enter a search or click on something, someone is making money, PERIOD. Why not you? MySpace makes ten bucks easy just when you go in to check your messages. Spend a hundred bucks a year on a hosting account like the ones I offer. Install a Wordpress blog, it’s automatic, just read the screen! Type in the crap you know about and submit your blog to some blog sites. Thats it! Want some traffic, start an argument. A couple weeks later subscribe to the programs I show below. (They wont accept your application if your blog has no content.) Insert the ads in a text box widget in Wordpress. (it’s copy and paste just like myspace). Watch your accounts grow. Just don’t click on your own ads!!! I lost thousands of dollars because of that when google disabled my account and took my earnings. Google sucks.
When done properly, useful sites like travel related ones or even free MySpace widgets can be found right from your site. Many people seek this stuff so, why not make it available? Why not profit from it?Now, the site is the tool, not you and your visitors!

Widget Bucks:
Widget bucks is really cool. The ads are high tech and there is an excellent selection. The referral code is just one line of code calling a javascript. So, you can insert ad widgets wherever javascript is allowed. (eg <script src=”"></script>) Many blogs and forums allow this tag. Also use it in your profile.

Chitika is a very powerful program that has great features like linking specific text automatiacally (inline ads) and taking advantage of unused space. When someone has a large monitor, ads will appear in the unused areas of the screen. Many other means of displaying ads are available there as well.

Linkshare allows you to browse through many advertisers. Select what you think people visiting your site will be interested in buying. Huge names and excellent selection. You do need a website to use linkshare.
